Our Partnerships - Artwinery

Exceptional. It's the first thing that comes to mind when experiencing Artwinery's creations. From the selection of the finest grapes to going mind-blowing 236 feet underground to ensure the best environment for superior winemaking - it speaks to unparalleled, natural quality. The winery's 100 acres located in Southeastern part of Ukraine is mostly in caves 236 feet deep. These former gypsum mines maintain perfect year-round humidity and temperatures between 57 and 59 degrees, critical to classic sparkling winemaking.

Artwinery crafts its sparkling wines using the original method developed hundreds of years ago in Champagne, France - Methode Traditionnelle - a complex, laborious process. Unlike the accelerated method used for many modern sparkling wines, Prosecco, and Cava, where wine is saturated with carbon dioxide in large tanks for 3 weeks or so, Artwinery's classic Methode Traditionnelle creates carbon dioxide naturally in a sealed bottle, a process taking 9 months to 6 years or more. The art and magic of "capture the sparkle" or prise de mousse infuses the wine with delicate shades of bouquet and taste. Pure artistry in a bottle.
